94: The New Normal

It was indeed a year that will be remembered in history. I felt we went back in time or time stood still.. There was a different meaning to everything we saw and did. A new normal.

Masks, gloves, sanitizer ,lockdown, quarantine, online platforms were the new normal. Personally I didn’t have any major tragedy like losing a loved one , hospitalization of a family member or being stuck somewhere alone due to ban of flights or quarantine. But news like these were the new normal news we heard everyday.

Now to shift to what I benefited from all this as a young girl. To accept whatever comes with a positive attitude so nothing surprises you or disappoints you. I learned a new routine of keeping fit – in the food I ate and working out . I started exploring my culinary skills. Trying new recipes, baking etc.I also started painting . What I truly missed in 2020 was going to university and hanging out with my friends . So though 2020 was nothing like what I expected I have learnt to accept the ‘NEW NORMAL ‘.
