83: In a blink of a second.

The year 2020 was definitely not the kind of climax I expected in my life. It went from going to university every day and hanging out with friends to sitting at home 24×7 with a snap of a finger. The terms quarantining and a lockdown was so strange that thinking about it actually happening felt unreal. The lockdown occurred in an irregular and unplanned manner that neither my family nor I knew how to react. Even though it was a tough and challenging time, I can speak for everyone when I say all of us were headstrong. We made the most with the extra time we had and lived a different life than pre-2020.

During the lockdown, I have spent the most quality time with my family than ever. To get through each day, we used to plan different activities we could do indoors. We took up various chores, and each of us used to find new recipes to cook every day. Covid-19 has definitely caused many difficulties in my, and many others lives. But I think the key factor that got me through it was focusing on the bright side and doing things I probably did not have time to do before. I had more time to connect with friends and family, I tried different food, activities etc. Even though it was an unusual change, seeing people all over the world facing the same issue and coping the same way made me feel normal and accustomed to the new way of living.
